Pejeng (Bali) - It started at 19:35 pm and lasted a minute, getting stronger every second and declining after about 40 seconds. It seems like nothing was damaged. Indoors everything was shaking, at the strongest point people had troubles standing, outside plants and lamps were severly shaking and the water in the pool formed crashing waves that flooded the sourrounding floor. One could hear loud rumbling, but it is not sure whether it came from the buildings or the earth itself. Bali Ubud - Spooky one. I never fehlt so scared. Hope no one hot hurt. Dogs where barking and everyone in the village, both inside and out their homes felt the tremor. Most people run out of their houses. Swimming pool water water waved intensely and overflew the border. House was shaking intensely and some people said it was difficult to keep their balance. Seminyak Bali - Environ 45 secondes , tout a vascillé , sans s arreter , avec un grondement sourd et profond , difficile de prendre appui en securité tant la secousse etait forte ... pas de degats apparemment , mais c est la nuit ,et il y avait beaucoup de cris de terreur alentour on en saura plus demain ... Kuta - The ground was visibly moving and it was like standing on a moving bus. It lasted about 2 minutes. Ubud Bali - Pas de dommages dans la résidence d\'accueil la piscine a oscillée fortement étant proche d\'une rivière nous avons du nous rapprocher d\'un sol rocheux solide pour éviter d\'être emportée dans un eventuel effondrement de la façade. Het duurde zon 10 sec. Dit was om 19:45. Om even voor 21 was het weer raak en merkte mijn vrouw het op. Het schudden was toen korter en minder hevig. Amed - Shaking started slowt. 1 bottle on table fel over. Took about 25 sec. uluwatu - Moderate shaking Payang - Light shaking nusa penida - 20 seconds long, run out of the room. the land was moving like waves in different directions. heard a low sound, I\'ll nver forget it. felt the after shock much less strong Nusa Lembongan - First shake about 2 hours ago, very strong, lasted 30 seconds. Second shake which was about an hour after was a bit lighter, lasted just 15 seconds. Beach front bungalows, keeping an eye on the ocean and tsunami warnings. Tabanan - Het huis schudde . Iedereen moest naar buiten rennen. Lovina - We zaten rustig te eten toen ik een licht schudden voelde. Eerst dacht ik dat mijn vriend met de bank schudde. Toen ik echter opkeek werd het schudden steeds erger. Iedereen stond op en wilde naar buiten. Echter toen we bij de deur stonden, stopte het schudden al en iedereen stond twijfelend bij de deur. Dit alles duurde ongeveer 1 minuut. Daarna was het voorbij en ging iedereen weer zitten. Singaraja, Bali - Shaking lasted about 30 seconds to a minute, and felt like it was intensifying; was concerned about objects falling off shelves in the house; everyone promptly ran out into the street w/in a few seconds of the quake starting. Strongest quake I\'ve felt in Bali in 7 years of living here. Canggu - Shaking lasted for about 15 seconds. I stayed in a surfcamp and everyone gathered at the parking lot. Big waves in the pool. No damage. Kuta Bali - Het duurde zeker 2 minuten de auto ging zwaar heen en weer. We zijn uitgestapt zoals iedereen. Later in ons hotel nogmaals 1 gevoeld bed schudde heftig. Iedereen moest naar beneden liften werken niet meer. Het gaat in gelukkig goed Sanur - voor ongeveer 2 minuten stond de tafel te trillen in het restaurant. we renden met zijn allen naar buiten en hebben op het kruispunt staan wachten, de locale bevolking stond gewoon te lachen en te bellen maar er was niet echt sprake van paniek. Wel werd er aan de telefoon gelijk het woord tsunami genoemt waarna bij ons gelijk wel paniek ontstond. Er kwam ongeveer 15 min later nog een kleine na schok maar de schrik zit er nog goed in en zal nog lang blijven ben ik bang. Sanur - Denk wel een minuut. Waten aan het eten. Iedereen bleef zitten. Flessen drank vielen om. Na ongeveer een uur nog naschok seminyak - Strong shaking Ubud - Moderate shaking Canggu - Strong shaking Seminyak - Het duurde ongeveer 40 seconde, we hadden net ingecheckt en liepen met 1 voet onze hotelkamer binnen. Bij het schudden gelijk naar buiten gegaan naar de opvangplaats. Een uur later nog een lichte naschok. Nu alles weer rustig.. Heel gek gevoel, de onrust is killing. Gelukkig geen schade verder. Candidasa - Heel het gebouw ging op en neer en de obers en koks stonden eerder buiten dan ons..... Uiteindelijk renden ook alle gasten baar buiten..... erg akelig. De 2e schok zorgde ervoor dat het zwembad lichtjes begon te golven. Ubud - Héberges à 19 dans une grande villa sur 3 étages. De nombreuses fissures sur les murs béton du rdv, le 2E étage a fortement tremblé, la maison en bois a bien bougé, fissures sur le 2e étage avec infiltrations d’eau. Ubud Bali - Moderate shaking Kuta on Lombok - At least 15 seconds. Denpasar - It last about 15 seconds. Some poorly constructed buildings were damaged lightly such as plafond falling, glass breaking, etc. But no damage to their structures. Some electrical wires was damaged which caused blackout in some areas (fortunately not mine). Bali - No property damaged, strong shaking for about 15 sec, everyone ran out of the building.

MMI IV (Light shaking)	? People : Generally noticed indoors but not outside. Light sleepers may be awakened. Vibration may be likened to the passing of heavy traffic, or to the jolt of a heavy object falling or striking the building. Fittings : Doors and windows rattle. Glassware and crockery rattle. MMI VI (Strong shaking)	? People Felt by all. People and animals alarmed. Many run outside. Difficulty experienced in walking steadily. Fittings : Objects fall from shelves. Pictures fall from walls. Some furniture moved on smooth floors, some unsecured free-standing fireplaces moved. Glassware and crockery broken. Very unstable furniture overturned. Small church and school bells ring. Appliances move on bench or table tops. Filing cabinets or "easy glide" drawers may open (or shut). Structures : Slight damage to buildings with low standard. Some stucco or cement plaster falls. Large display windows broken. Damage to a few weak domestic chimneys, some may fall. Environment : Trees and bushes shake, or are heard to rustle. Loose material may be dislodged from sloping ground, e.g. existing slides, talus slopes, shingle slides.
MMI VII (Very strong shaking)	? People General alarm. Difficulty experienced in standing. Noticed by motorcar drivers who may stop. Fittings : Large bells ring. Furniture moves on smooth floors, may move on carpeted floors. Substantial damage to fragile contents of buildings. Structures : Unreinforced stone and brick walls cracked. Low standard buildings cracked with some minor masonry falls. A few instances of damage to buildings of ordinary workmanship. Unbraced parapets, unbraced brick gables, and architectural ornaments fall. Roofing tiles, especially ridge tiles may be dislodged. Many unreinforced domestic chimneys damaged, often falling from roof-line. Water tanks Type I burst. A few instances of damage to brick veneers and plaster or cement-based linings. Unrestrained water cylinders (hot-water cylinders) may move and leak. Some common windows cracked. Suspended ceilings damaged. Environment : Water made turbid by stirred up mud. Small slides such as falls of sand and gravel banks, and small rock-falls from steep slopes and cuttings. Instances of settlement of unconsolidated or wet, or weak soils. Some fine cracks appear in sloping ground. A few instances of liquefaction (i.e. small water and sand ejections).
MMI VIII (Severe shaking)	? People Alarm may approach panic. Steering of motorcars greatly affected. Structures : Low standard buildings heavily damaged, some collapse. ordinary workmanship buildings damaged, some with partial collapse. Reinforced masonry or concrete buildings damaged in some cases. A few instances of damage to buildings and bridges designed and built to resist earthquakes. Monuments and pre-1976 elevated tanks and factory stacks twisted or brought down. Some pre-1965 infill masonry panels damaged. A few post-1980 brick veneers damaged. Decayed timber piles of houses damaged. Houses not secured to foundations may move. Most unreinforced domestic chimneys damaged, some below roof-line, many brought down. Environment : Cracks appear on steep slopes and in wet ground. Small to moderate slides in roadside cuttings and unsupported excavations. Small water and sand ejections and localized lateral spreading adjacent to streams, canals, lakes, etc.
MMI IX (Violent shaking)	? Structures Many low standard buildings destroyed. Ordinary workmanship buildings heavily damaged, some collapse. Reinforced masonry or concrete buildings damaged, some with partial collapse. Buildings and bridges designed and built to resist earthquakes damaged in some cases, some with flexible frames seriously damaged. Damage or permanent distortion to some buildings and bridges, designed and built to normal use standards. Houses not secured to foundations shifted off. Brick veneers fall and expose frames. Environment : Cracking of ground conspicuous. Landsliding general on steep slopes. Liquefaction effects intensified and more widespread, with large lateral spreading and flow sliding adjacent to streams, canals, lakes, etc.
