Update 14:36 UTC : Light to max. moderate shaking at the Guatemala and Mecico coast.
Update 14:33 UTC : The earthquake's epicenter is far enough out of the coast and deep enough to NOT generate any serious damage. Based on the location we do think that this earthquake is due to the subduction of the oceanic plate beneath the North American plate. Subduction earthquakes cannot be compared with the earthquake in Japan yesterday.
