Update 22:07 UTC : First reports from Pakistan are mentioning that in Pashawar an unspecified number of old houses either collapsed or were damaged. 41 people were taken to hospitals in the city. 18 inhabitants of Swat were also treated for injuries.
Update 19:59 UTC : As the epicenter of this earthquake is located in a remote region, it will take at least until daylight before we will be able to get some more information. We will keep you updated
Update 19:42 UTC : The population in a radius of 75 km around the epicenter is 290.000
Update 19:29 UTC : Due to the deep hypocenter ER does not expect a lot of direct shaking damage. There is however a very big risk on secundary damage like landslides. Landslides are also often the reason that houses and people are buried below huge amounts of earth. Let's hope that this will not be the case this time.
