Update 07:33 UTC: Professor Max Wyss, who specialises in theoretical prognoses of injuries and fatalities expects :
10 to 200 fatalities
50 to 500 wounded
At ER, we believe that it will be maximum less than the lower numbers
Update 07:30 UTC: Only few villages in the area of the epicenter. A dam is at about 5 km but dams are meant to withstand far higher Magnitudes than today's.
Update 07:28 UTC: The 1.1 million inhabitants city of Ahwaz is at a relatively safe distance of 106 km from the epicenter.
Update 07:24 UTC: Iranian local agencies are reporting a Magnitude of 5.7 at a depth of 17 km
