Wasilla - No property damage but shook strong for about 15 seconds maybe Then was just rocking for about a minute.
Anchorage - It was the coolest quake in my 37 years in Ak it had every thing rattling in my roofing yard. Its amazing how noisy it is shaking the earth even after the violent shaking is over.
Eagle River - Sudden, strong shaking w/out warning low rumbling. Had to hold on. Crashing, glass breaking, some cracks & cosmetic wall damage. Many aftershocks still occurring.
Eagle River - Strong sudden shaking. Many pictures off walls, lots of broken glass, broken tv, some wall damage & cracks. Items out on floors in every room & garage.
Delta junction - Dropping son off at school, light fixtures and things on classroom ceiling started swaying. Earthquake drill went into place and everyone got under desks. Felt aftershock driving home
NORTH POLE ALASKA - No property damage.was a long , strong shake.lasted close to a minute.heard house creaking .made me stand and think about our next move as it waslasting a long time.
Anchorage - I was in a parked car that was shaking violently, and all the cars around me were shaking. I went into a coffee shop that experienced damage and closed shortly thereafter. Everyone in the coffee shop seemed shaken and upset. Many people went under tables to protect themselves from falling items. The earthquake lasted for a while and we are still experiencing aftershocks.
Wasilla - Was at walmart parking lot when it started truck was rocking back and forth. In the distance seen transformers popping, lights went out and walmart was evacuated. Literally thought my truck was gunna roll over.
Fairbanks - Had a small quake in the area of Fairbanks Alaska. It lasted roughly 40 seconds and shook hanging curtains and swayed the table faintly.
Fairbanks - lasted at least 1 min. everything shook and swung outside yard lights and hanging lights inside with chairs rocking and walls of log home creaking
Fairbanks - Light shaking
Fairbanks - Persistent rolling quake lasted maybe 20 seconds
Fort Greely - Things moving in the house.
Fairbanks - Moderate shaking
Anchor Point, AK - House was racking back and forth.
Kenai - Very strong shaking
Fairbanks - I felt like the whole house was spinning. Nothing was damaged though.
Fort Wainwright - 10 seconds no damage
North Pole - Weak shaking
Palmer,AK - Shaking ladled a good 40 seconds
Soldotna, AK - Strong shaking
FAIRBANKS - Light shaking
Delta Junction - Moderate shaking
Fairbanks - Moderate shaking
Palmer - Lights were shaking kid cried no one hurt as far as we know
Healy Alaska - our school started swaying and our internet in our school went out.
Palmer - Strong shaking
Glennallen, Alaska - Strong shaking
Anchorage, AK - It woke me up and a few items fell and broke but otherwise there wasnt much damage.
Salcha - I was in attendance at a school staff meeting. We all felt it and noticed Christmas bulbs swaying on the decorated tree in the library. It lasted about 30 seconds. No property damage. One teeny after shock a minute or so later.
Willow - Almost made one car hit the other... Knocked my stove pipe off and into my house... Lots and lots of movement... All is good so far
Delta Junction, AK - Lasted ~30 seconds. Wood stove metal chimney shook, house rocked back and forth. No known property damage.
Anchorage - Walls were jello for about 2 minutes. Everything fell off the shelves, house is a mess inside. No visible property damage.
Fairbanks - I'm staying in a hotel and everything was moving
North Pole, Alaska - 1-2 seconds. No damage. We live in a concrete house.
Anhorage - Happened about 20-25 minutes ago. Lasted at least 20 seconds, maybe more. Have had two after shocks so far. Piles of stacked wood outside fell over. Inside Many things fell from shelves, cabinets, and mantle, with some breakage. Strongest we've felt in over 45 years in Alaska.
Girdwood - Very strong shaking
Chugiak, Alaska - Power outage, items knocked on floor. 2 aftershocks. Continuous rumbling. I checked tsunami center and I am pretty close to to epicenter.
Valdez - We evacuated to the parking lot - stayed out there for approx. 5 minutes. Were still feelin aftershocks for roughly 10 - 15 mins
North Pole - Moderate shaking
Clear/Anderson - Dog woke up. Coffee sloshing.
Clear - Sitting at my desk and could feel our 3 story building rolling and then start to shake.
Anderson/Clear - About 5 to 10 seconds. Dishes and utensils that were hanging were clanging. Then another wave made me dizzy.
Two Rivers - Log home swaying, wind chimes and crystals swaying, no apparent damage
anchorage - things knocked off tables, nothing broken, some root bear spilled on floor.
Fairbanks - 15 seconds. No dammage. 8:32am Fairbanks Alaska.
Anchorage - Was in truck coming down mountain thought the truck was going to shake off the side of the mountain
sterling Alaska - 45/50 seconds very hard shaking possibly a minute shook hard! No damage just a lot of stuff fell
Sankt-Peterburg. - From ist building hous 5 et."stalinka".not felt!👌.
Soldotna, AK - Entire house was shaking erratically in many different directions. It lasted so long I felt queasy, like being on a boat during a rough storm.
Girdwood - Very strong shaking
Panama City, Florida - Shortly after 10 a.m. I felt was some would call a sonic boom my entire car shook and I could feel the shaking. There are also reports of people feeling it at the same time in Fort Lauderdale Florida my location is Panama City Florida. They will say it\'s the Jets, they always do, from Tyndall AFB. That hurricane Michael completely destroyed.
Valdez - Moderate shaking
Fairbanks - Moderate shaking, some creaking in the walls, no damage identified at this time, lasted probably close to one minute
Anchorage - Water pipe damage (not severe), light fixture cover came off, some pictures fell/glass broke. Steady strong shaking followed by quite a few pretty strong aftershocks.
Wasilla, Alaska - Just some broken stuff that fell in the house so far that we have noticed. When we get a better chance to look at the foundation of the house again after all the other Earthquakes stop we will be able to see if there is any serious other damages but for now nothing yet too big. It lasted for seemed like a good minute or so it was a pretty long shake and it shook everything. It scared my two kids they were terrified.
