Moderately dangerous earthquake near the Northern Sumatra coast, Indonesia

FINAL UPDATE 23/12 - 18:51 UTC : Based on testimonies of local people at Meulaboh, the shocks lasted only short and were not that heavy. People always do the wrong thing and are fleeing out of houses and buildings.
After staying a while in the streets, they returned to their daily tasks.
BMKG, the Indonesian Seismological Service, has reported a Magnitude of M 4.5

A strong earthquake occurred during the morning hours just out of the coast and near the coastal towns of Meulaboh, Johan Phalawan and Kuala.
The shocks will have been weakened by the intermediate depth.
Meulaboh was one of the towns who suffered a heavy toll in the 2004 tsunami with at least 40,000 killed people. Meulaboh was at 150 km from the epicenter during this tragedy.
Calculated max. MMI value will be V = Moderate shaking. The earthquake will be felt all over northern Sumatra.
Yesterday's earthquake which centered in Simeulue was approx. 150 km from the current epicenter.
