I was working on my computer when our hotel started moving side to side, my body had not been consumed with illicit drugs or alcohol, I had never experienced an earthquake before so my brain was confused for a moment the rocking and shaking lasted only 30 seconds but seemed like hours, my husband explained what was happening and went to check everyone was safe in the hotel (they were) we are located in Smolyan Bulgaria. It was most unpleasant.

I felt the earth quake ,but i thought it was storm so I didnt even get up.the lamps were shaking like crazy btw…

The sound from this earthquake was like in the movies , like a huge bass effect , i was asleep and at first i thought that an airplane is flying by but no , it was an f. earthquake . Damn . Anyway , i’ll remember it for years , i hope that more earthquakes never appear in any country in the near future , not in Europe , not even in any other continent . Talking about end of the world is not helping .

I worried really so much as my girlfriend living in sofia and she entered with her family into the their car when she felt it , i hate this BLOODY EARTHQUAKE

bugger, not another one in Europe
I know how you feel, I live in Christchurch, NZ, and I have been through the aftershocks several times.
They really are horrible!
do prepare for more aftershocks, unfortunately they can go for months or years, and the first one isn’t neccesarily the most damaging.

Also feeled in Pirot, Serbia, 45km disance from Pernik in Bulgaria. Horrible feeling… :/
