I heard it was about 44 km (27 miles) NE of TOKYO, Japan.
I don’t know how far away it has to be to be considered close to Tokyo.

Was there a 4.9 in Ibaraki today? close to tokyo? I heard when it was a 4.5 the shaking intensity was only a 3. the depth was 35 km
