Very strong earthquake on the Kamchatka coast close to Ust-Kamchatsk, Russia

UPDATE 23:33 UTC : Russian sources are reporting that in Ust-Kamchatsk nobody was hurt and all installations, houses and facilities are NOT damaged.

UPDATE 23:29 UTC : RAS reported the 6.6 earthquake at a depth of 104.5 km and the second 6.5 magnitude earthquake at a depth of 55.9 km.
Due to the depth and the distance to the epicenter, the impact on buildings in Ust-Kamchatsk will have been weakened a lot

UPDATE 23:22 UTC : Russian sources are reporting 2 earthquakes with respectively a magnitude of 6.5 and 6.6, a different value than USGS and EMSC are reporting !

UPDATE 23:12 UTC : Ust-Kamchatsk is a settlement in Kamchatka Krai, Russia, located on the eastern shore of the Kamchatka Peninsula at the mouth of the Kamchatka River some 50 kilometers (31 mi) away from the Klyuchevskaya Sopka volcano and 522 kilometers (324 mi) from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. Population: 4,400 (2007 est.); 5,231 (2002 Census); 13,611 (1989 Census).
Ust-Kamchatsk was founded in 1731 as a settlement of Ust-Primorsky and later renamed Ust-Kamchatsk (1890). There is a sea port, a fish-processing plant (FPP 66), a few woodworking factories, and Ust-Kamchatsk Airport (opened in 1937) in Ust-Kamchatsk.

UPDATE 22:59 UTC : Kamchatka is a remote area in the world which has a huge number of earthquakes.
Although the people are used to it, a magnitude 6 earthquake nearby is still a dangerous event.

UPDATE 22:46 UTC : According to USGS 46 people will endure a VIII MMI (Severe shaking).
